On page 102 the author states that Abraham Lincoln visited Cape May. This is pure legend and surprisingly Mr. Stansfield, the author, lists a book on Cape May in his Bibliography that clearly debunks the legend. Mr. Lincoln was filing an affidavit in Ill|About the Author|Charles A. Stansfield Jr. lives in Pitman, New Jersey, and was professor of geography at Rowan University for 41 years. He is the author of 11 books on the paranormal.
